Production Extending from Europe to the World: MAKTEK Eurasia

MAKTEK Eurasia 2026 has once again confirmed its status as one of the most distinguished meeting points of Turkish industry by being granted “Prestigious Fair” status by the Turkish Ministry of Trade. This support demonstrates that MAKTEK Eurasia is not merely a trade platform; it is a reliable, reputable, and strategic industrial showcase on a national and international scale.

Organized by Tüyap Fair Group, in cooperation with the Machine Tool Manufacturers and Businessmen Association (TİAD) and with the support of the Machine Manufacturers Association (MİB), the 9th International MAKTEK Eurasia Fair will take place at the Tüyap Fair and Congress Center between September 28 and October 3, 2026. Positioned as one of Turkey’s highest value-added events in the field of machine tools and production technologies, MAKTEK Eurasia, with its Prestigious Fair status, underlines the fair’s status as a strong and sustainable organization of international standards for both exhibitors and visitors. This support from the Ministry of Trade elevates MAKTEK Eurasia to a privileged position in the sector, while also strengthening the fair’s perceived credibility and brand value on a global scale. MAKTEK Eurasia 2026 continues to be the main platform that carries the prestige of the Turkish machinery industry to the world.

MAKTEK Joins the List of Prestigious Eurasian Fairs

The fair’s inclusion in the list of fairs supported by the Ministry of Trade offers a significant opportunity for participating companies. Under this support program, companies participating in the fair receive support for their participation expenses, including stand area (in m²), stand and booth rental, up to 50% of the total cost, under the Domestic Prestigious Fair Support program.

Companies operating in Turkey, complying with Ministry regulations, and having signed and completed their fair participation contracts can benefit from this support. The support package covers stand area rental, construction, and decoration costs. Applications are accepted through the Support Management System (DYS) within a maximum of 3 months from the fair’s closing date. It is noted that the process is managed directly through the Central Anatolian Exporters’ Associations (OAİB), not through the organizer Tüyap.

MAKTEK Eurasia 2026: A Fair Breaking Records Even Before Opening

MAKTEK Eurasia 2026 is clearly demonstrating its strength and scale in the sector even at the beginning of its organizational process. Booth sales reached over 70% occupancy in the first 45-day early sales period.

This strong performance highlights MAKTEK Eurasia’s high level of participation and increasing demand from new companies in the sector. The current demand level shows that the fair is taking shape on the scale of all 14 halls.

With 44 foreign companies and 171 domestic companies waiting for space, the organization team is considering an additional 10,000 m² of space. These figures concretely support MAKTEK Eurasia’s claim to be the largest production technology gathering not only in Turkey but also in the Eurasian region.

MAKTEK Eurasia 2026 is not just a place that keeps its finger on the pulse of industry; It continues to grow as a force shaping the direction of industry.

Focus Country Studies and International Collaborations

MAKTEK Eurasia 2026 goes beyond simply showcasing technology, focusing on strengthening international trade connections.

In line with this vision, the fair is preparing to open a new chapter in global collaborations with the “Honor Country” model, which will be implemented for the first time.

This structure, where a different country will be positioned as a strategic partner each year, includes special networking events, sectoral contact programs, and high-level participation. Contacts are ongoing with a strong European-based industrial ecosystem for the first Honor Country, and details are expected to be shared in the coming period.

Future-Oriented Event Areas

The special experience and content areas within the fair will host events where young talents showcase their projects, industry professionals share knowledge, and the future of production technologies is discussed. Bringing together education, innovation, and industry meetings, these areas will highlight the fair’s visionary aspect.
