With over 40 years of experience in the industry and preferred by global giants, Flokser Kimya brought together its business partners and industry professionals operating in the rigid foam polyurethane systems sector at its “Industry Leaders Meeting” in Istanbul. Held at the Sura Hotel in Sultanahmet, one of Istanbul’s historically and culturally significant old settlements, the event, attended by prominent figures including ODE Chairman and TÜSİAD High Advisory Board Vice Chairman Orhan Turan, facilitated mutual experience sharing and visionary assessments for the future.
“We are the only polyurethane manufacturer that sells R&D services”
In his opening speech at the event, Flokser Kimya CEO Ekin Tükek stated that polyurethane is present in every aspect of life and that Flokser Kimya provides polyurethane solutions to almost all sectors. “Our annual sales volume reached approximately 60,000 tons in 2025, and we have set a sales volume target of 80,000 tons for 2026. With our investment in Mersin, we will reach 100,000 tons. While our export rate was 38% in 2025, we have set a high export target of 45% for 2026. Our R&D center is the first R&D center in the sector. Every year, we are among the companies that invest the most in R&D in the R&D 250 list. Tükek, emphasizing that the sustainable growth of the sector is possible through strong collaborations and knowledge sharing, stated that such meetings will continue in the coming period.
Orhan Turan, who also participated in the event, addressed both sectoral developments and the economic outlook in his speech. The program concluded with a dinner held after the meeting.”
