TURKCOMPOSITE 2026: THE INTERNATIONAL SHOWCASE OF THE COMPOSITE SECTOR OPENS ITS DOORS WITH A REVAMPED STRUCTURE
The International Composite Fair TURKCOMPOSITE 2026 will be held at the Istanbul Expo Center from October 21–23, 2026, with the support of the Presidency Investment and Finance Office. Organized by CNG Expo, the revamped fair aims to place the Turkish composite sector on the global stage, foster international collaborations, and establish Turkey as a regional hub for composites.
As Turkey’s most comprehensive event in the field of composite materials and technologies, the International Composite Fair TURKCOMPOSITE 2026 is preparing to open its doors to the industry and the world with a significantly strengthened organizational structure. Supported by the Presidency Investment and Finance Office, the fair will take place across a 15,000 m² area—spanning Halls 9 and 10 and the foyer of the Istanbul Expo Center—from October 21–23, 2026. TURKCOMPOSITE 2026 is expected to bring together over 500 brands (with 30% being international exhibitors) and more than 4,000 international visitors (with 30% of the total visitor base coming from abroad). Launched under the slogan "Meet4Composite," the event will offer participants a comprehensive platform covering areas such as raw materials, semi-finished goods, finished products, laboratory systems, and production technologies.
New Organization, New Vision
Organized with the support of the Composite Manufacturers Association; Unlike in previous years, the fair—which will feature the participation of leading organizations such as Turkish Aerospace Industries (TUSAŞ), Roketsan, and Baykar Technology—is being organized by CNG Expo, a company with over 20 years of industry experience. This collaboration is bringing about a complete overhaul of the fair's organizational structure. Through this transformation, the aim is to significantly strengthen both the visitor experience and international promotion strategies, thereby boosting the international recognition and prestige of the Turkish composites sector.
Cengiz Yaman, Chairman of the Board of CNG Expo, noted that the Composites Manufacturers Association and Turkish companies have successfully participated in world-leading trade fairs—such as JEC World in France and CAMX in the USA—for years. He stated that the current objective is to bring this global impact to Turkey through the TURKCOMPOSITE Fair and to transform the country into a regional hub for the composites industry. Emphasizing that TURKCOMPOSITE 2026 is not merely a platform for showcasing products but also a meeting point for knowledge sharing, technology transfer, and international collaboration, Yaman said, "With its revamped organizational structure, the fair positions itself this year as a significant step toward showcasing the Turkish composites sector on the global stage."
The Turkish Composites Sector Gains Momentum
In recent years, the Turkish composites sector has demonstrated robust growth across several strategic fields, particularly in construction, automotive, aerospace, and the defense industry. The market size, which exceeded $2 billion as of 2024, is projected to reach $7 billion within the next five years. Operating in compliance with international standards, the sector is enhancing its competitiveness in European, North American, and Asian markets thanks to its advanced engineering and design capabilities.
Shifting its focus from traditional composite products to high-tech offerings such as carbon fiber-reinforced polymers (CFRP), aramid fibers, and nanocomposites, the sector stands out for its lightweight, durable, and high-performance products. Exports of composite products surpassed $2 billion in 2024, securing a significant share of Turkey’s high-tech exports. The Turkish composites sector aims to further strengthen its presence in North America, Western Europe, India, Southeast Asia, and the MENA region through increasing technology investments.
