Borusan Ventures has invested in Omen AI, a company providing AI-powered, real-time fluid analysis

Borusan Ventures, the corporate venture capital arm of the Borusan Group, participated in a $41.5 million investment round for Omen AI, a company that offers an integrated hardware and software solution for real-time fluid analysis in industrial machinery and data centers.
Borusan Ventures invested in Omen AI, a developer of AI-powered, real-time fluid analysis solutions. In addition to Borusan Ventures, participants in the Series A round—led by Nava Ventures—and the seed round—led by CRV—included LMNT Ventures, former Meta COO Sheryl Sandberg, and various other investors.

Real-time monitoring replaces traditional laboratory testing
Omen AI focuses on two primary use cases. The first involves liquid-cooled data centers, a sector expanding rapidly alongside the proliferation of artificial intelligence applications. The second encompasses heavy machinery and industrial equipment. In both areas, real-time monitoring of fluid health reduces unplanned downtime, extends equipment lifespan, and lowers maintenance costs.
Currently, the practice of monitoring industrial fluids via periodic sampling—where laboratory results reach teams days or even weeks later—creates a significant time lag between the equipment's actual condition and the available data. Due to this delay, signs of wear or contamination that could have been detected early escalate into irreversible failures, causing downtime and maintenance costs to skyrocket.
Omen AI’s product bridges this gap with two complementary components. The first is a sensor that integrates seamlessly and non-intrusively into the machine's existing fluid system, continuously monitoring oil, coolant, or water-glycol circuits. The second is a portable testing device that enables real-time, on-site analysis. This allows teams to diagnose the machine's condition immediately, eliminating the need to wait for laboratory processes that can take weeks.
By continuously tracking changes over time—rather than relying on static, one-off measurements—this approach detects early warning signs such as wear, contamination, and corrosion, enabling minor maintenance interventions that prevent issues from escalating into far costlier breakdowns.
