 
                                 
                                    Metal Expo Eurasia 2025 and Foundry Expo Istanbul, encompassing a wide range of product groups including iron and steel, stainless steel, and casting, opened its doors to industry professionals in Istanbul from September 24-27. Held for the 7th time this year, Metal Expo Eurasia brought together the metal and steel industry’s most prominent manufacturers and suppliers under one roof.
Metal Expo Eurasia continues to strengthen the metals sector, at the heart of the industrial and manufacturing world, both in terms of trade and knowledge exchange. With hundreds of local and international companies participating, the fair once again distinguished itself as one of the region’s most influential industrial gatherings.
Foundry Expo Istanbul, held simultaneously with Metal Expo Eurasia for the first time this year, hosted many national and international brands in the field of casting services and technologies.
The Official Opening Ceremony was Held with Huge Participation
The official opening ceremony, held on September 25th, was attended by government and industry representatives. Speakers included:
•Deputy Minister of Industry and Technology Çetin Ali Dönmez;
•Metal Expo and Foundry Expo Executive Board Chairman Barış Görktürk;
•YİSAD Vice President Ahmet Özkan;
•and Iranian Steel Industry Senior Analyst Dr. Ali Goulizade. 
Key topics such as the growth potential of Turkey’s steel sector, foreign trade targets, and the transition to sustainable production were highlighted in the speeches. Dr. Ali Goulizade shared information with the fair guests about Turkish-Iranian relations from an Iranian perspective, as well as the current status and development of the sector in Iran.
Industry Agenda Discussed at Conferences
The conferences held as part of the fair added value to attendees not only in terms of trade but also in terms of knowledge sharing.
Expert speakers addressed a wide range of topics, from new technologies in stainless steel production to European Union Green Transformation norms, from global production trends to sectoral transformation strategies.
Thanks to these sessions, Metal Expo served not only as an exhibition space but also as a knowledge center and vision platform for industry professionals. 
The Future of the Metal and Steel Sector is Being Shaped in Istanbul
Metal Expo Eurasia 2025 continues to serve as a strategic bridge for domestic manufacturers to expand into global markets.
The fair, which addressed sustainable production, technological transformation, and global trade opportunities, also laid the groundwork for collaborations that will shape the future of the sector.
The fair also featured a new year’s launch with the slogan “Smart Steel, Smarter Future,” representing the vision for next year. Metal Expo Eurasia Global, with its emphasis on shaping the future of the iron and steel sector based on smart production services, will continue to contribute to the sector’s growth in 2026.
