Leading representatives of the iron and steel industry gathered at the SteelOrbis Market Talks held in Kocaeli. The event, sponsored by Yıldız Demir Çelik (platinum company), discussed current developments in the steel markets and introduced new features of the company’s digital customer portal, STARGATE.

Key players in the iron and steel industry gathered at the SteelOrbis Market Talks meeting held in Kocaeli on September 16, 2025. The event, supported by Yıldız Demir Çelik, a Yıldızlar Yatırım Holding group company, as a platinum sponsor, was attended by numerous industry-leading professionals.

The event’s opening speech was delivered by SteelOrbis General Manager Murat Eryılmaz. Yıldız Demir Çelik Sales Director Vedat Acar then delivered a comprehensive assessment of the company’s perspective on the sector.
The program continued with a panel titled “What Awaits Steel Markets?” The supply-demand imbalance in steel in Turkey, the economic outlook and its impact on end-users, global HRC capacity, and protectionism and uncertainties in global trade were discussed.
