With the completion of a €13 million investment in Gebze, launched in 2023 and encompassing infrastructure reinforcements, fully automated production lines, and a solar energy system, Legrand Turkey Group has launched its next-generation modular protection products. This investment not only fully automated its miniature circuit breaker production lines, but also enabled the production of domestically produced 10kA miniature circuit breakers at the Gebze facility for the first time. Providing effective protection against high short-circuit currents, this product can be safely used in a wide range of applications, from residences and commercial buildings to healthcare and industrial facilities and public projects. Thanks to their robust performance and ergonomic design, the XS4, XG6, and XD10 series miniature circuit breakers, as well as the XC10 series residual current circuit breakers, minimize electrical risks, ensuring long-term safety and energy efficiency.
These products, highlighted by these features, were introduced to the industry at a digital launch event held at a dealer meeting in January 2025 and entered the market in March. Thus, solutions with IP2X protection levels not only offer maximum user safety during installation and maintenance processes, but also contribute to the prevention of potential fire or electric shock risks. Furthermore, thanks to their flexible installation options and extensive accessory options, the products can be adapted to different building types and easily integrated into Turkey’s diverse regional and structural conditions. Developed with the Legrand Turkey Group’s engineering approach, these products not only increase energy efficiency but also support environmental sustainability and reduce total cost of ownership.
