Stating that SMEs, which provide 72 percent of employment, 50 percent of production and 32 percent of exports in Turkey, need special solutions in the digitalization and automation process, Tezmaksan Group CEO Hakan Aydoğdu emphasized the need to develop automation solutions suitable for the production model of less quantity and more variety for SMEs. Aydoğdu emphasized that innovative products such as CubeBOX and Kapasitematik offer SMEs not only production efficiency but also a fast and smooth transition to Industry 4.0.
Tezmaksan, which offers local and national solutions for the digital transformation of SMEs, draws attention with its leading role in the machining industry. Tezmaksan Group CEO Hakan Aydoğdu emphasized that SMEs, which provide 72 percent of employment, 50 percent of production and 32 percent of exports in Turkey, need special solutions in the digitalization and automation process. Stating that they are Turkey’s largest and one of the first two companies in Europe in the field of sales, service, robotic automation, rental and e-commerce in the machine tools sector, Aydoğdu said, “We have developed automation solutions suitable for SMEs with low quantity and high variety production models. With our products such as CubeBOX and Kapasitematik, we make it easier for small-scale production companies to transition to automation. Compatible with all CNC machines, CubeBOX offers 24-hour operator-free and error-free operation, providing a 50 percent increase in productivity, especially during night shifts. “Kapasitematik monitors machines and operators 24/7, increasing operating efficiency and playing a leading role in the transition to Industry 4.0,” he said.

“The transition from traditional to digital has changed the preferences of young people”
Pointing out that the new generation does not want to work in traditional jobs, Aydoğdu said, “Young people now prefer technology-oriented roles where they can use their mental skills, instead of working in jobs based on physical strength. We have difficulty finding CNC operators or welders, but interest in robotic automation systems is very high. The new generation wants to program and manage these systems. “For this reason, automation is no longer a choice, but an obligation for individuals and institutions,” he said.
“We target a turnover of 100 Million Euros with our Industry 4.0 Compatible Sivas Factory”
Referring to the new generation production center established by Tezmaksan in Sivas, Aydoğdu said, “We produce with lean production techniques and industrial robots in our factory, which was built in accordance with the European Green Deal and environmental sustainability principles. This facility, which was implemented with a total investment of 15 million Euros and a construction cost of 37.5 million TL, also hosts Turkey’s human resources trained in the field of automation and quantum computing. Sivas’ logistics advantages and training staff increase the success of this investment. “In addition, with the revival of the Silk Road, Sivas has become an important center of the logistics network extending from China to Europe,” he said.
Tezmaksan Academy continues to train professionals of the future
Underlining the pioneering role of Tezmaksan Academy in the field of digital transformation and automation, which has been providing free training to vocational high school students, teachers and university students in 62 provinces since 2015, Aydoğdu expressed the importance of sectoral education with the following words: “We touched the lives of 350 thousand students. We provide CNC training in vocational high schools and contribute to the training of young people in this field. Thanks to our training and seminars, 70 percent of graduating students want to work with us. “This is a big step for both the future of young people and the digital transformation of our industry.”
“We export to 34 countries and aim to grow by 300 percent.”
Stating that they are shaping the future of the Turkish industry with regular capacity increases and global platforms such as parkada.com, Hakan Aydoğdu stated that mechanical automation will be replaced by artificial intelligence and big data-based systems and regarding Tezmaksan’s global growth targets, “Automation and digitalization that will facilitate the adaptation of SMEs are no longer a choice, but an obligation.” The industry of the future will be built on artificial intelligence and IoT-based systems. “With the 5G technology, which we plan to use by 2026, fully automatic systems that minimize human error in production lines will become widespread,” he said.
