Tezmaksan, one of the leading companies in the machining industry, ended 2024, when difficult economic conditions affected many sectors, with a positive performance.The company, which has made a name for itself with its technological solutions and innovations that have attracted attention on a global scale, continued to accelerate the exports of Turkish industry with the Hacı Mustafa Aydoğdu Production Center, which it officially opened in Sivas. It also increased the efficiency of domestic production by bringing together industrialists and manufacturers with the Parkurda Pazaryeri platform. The company, which aims to increase the production capacity of CubeBOX to 300 units in 2025, will focus on joint ventures to expand its dealership network of nearly 30 on 4 continents.
Tezmaksan, which has been a solution partner of Turkish industry for over 40 years, continued to add value to its customers in the machine tool sector with its wide range of services in 2024. Supporting the measures taken against economic difficulties with its new investments, the company started CubeBOX production by officially opening the Hacı Mustafa Aydoğdu Production Center in Sivas Demirağ OSB. Tezmaksan, which aims to increase the capacity of the production center in order to meet the demand for automation solutions especially from foreign markets, has determined increasing its operating profit in 2025 as its primary goal.
“We managed to show a positive performance even though it was not profitable”
Tezmaksan Group CEO Hakan Aydoğdu, who drew attention to the fact that 2024 was a difficult year for the Turkish industry, said, “High interest rates, inflation pressure, low exchange rate policy, global uncertainties and the transformation in the automotive sector negatively affected the growth appetite and in
vestment tendency in the industry. We took the necessary precautions by foreseeing these difficulties and managed to show a positive performance even though it was not profitable.
The increase in demand for our automation solutions especially in foreign markets strongly supported our exports and reinforced our decision to increase our investments in this area.”
Tezmaksan continues to be the unifying force of the sector with its solutions
Aydoğdu stated that Tezmaksan continues to add value to the machine tool sector in 2024, “One of our prominent projects was the Parkurda Pazaryeri platform, which creates an effective communication network between industrialists and manufacturers and allows for more efficient use of domestic production capacity. Another important project of ours is Kapasitematik. Thanks to this product, manufacturers can instantly monitor the operating status and efficiency rates of their machines and optimize their processes. In addition, we introduced our robotic automation solutions such as CubeBOX and our innovations for digitalization to sector professionals at robot fairs and other events.”
CubeBOX production target in 2025 is 300 units
Aydoğdu, noting that economic uncertainties will also affect 2025, made the following assessments regarding the new period: “We anticipate that profit margins will decrease even further in 2025. Since the recession in Europe directly affects the domestic market of Turkey, one of the continent’s major suppliers, we anticipate that economic uncertainties will create additional challenges. Therefore, in the first half of 2025, the sector will face a contraction and cost optimization efforts accordingly. In this environment, as Tezmaksan, we will be able to produce at high quality standards in our new facility. We aim to produce 300 CubeBOXes annually in a dark factory setup according to demand. We will increase our presence in global markets by strengthening our dealership network. We have a growth target of 20 percent in dollar terms; however, our main focus will be to increase operating profitability.”
