HANNOVER MESSE 2025 Launches a New Era of Automation with Artificial Intelligence

At HANNOVER MESSE 2025, companies from all over the world will be exhibiting in 15 halls how the latest technologies, components, integrated Industry 4.0 solutions and artificial intelligence are making production processes more efficient and sustainable to gain an edge in global competition. The Smart Manufacturing exhibition area at HANNOVER MESSE will be all about smart and sustainable production. The fair will be held for the 78th time from March 31 to April 4, 2025. The world’s leading industry fair will bring together more than 4,000 exhibitors this year. With the national participation organization of ITO, 64 companies and approximately 134 companies from Turkey will participate in the fair so far.

Speaking at the press conference, Hannover Fairs Turkey Deputy General Manager Belkıs Ertaşkın stated that HANNOVER MESSE Fair, the pioneer of innovation, sustainability and digital transformation in the industry, will bring together world-class industry leaders, technology manufacturers and innovative solutions in Hannover, Germany for the 78th time between March 31 - April 4, 2025. Stating that Hannover Fairs Turkey has been planning, organizing and implementing fairs in Turkey since 1996, Ertaşkın said, “Since our establishment, we have been providing companies with the most convenient way to establish new business connections and reach growing markets by creating effective trade platforms. In the last 29 years, we have organized numerous successful events that brought Turkish exporters, manufacturers and foreign investors together under one roof. And we have made significant contributions to the Turkish economy.” Ertaşkın, who stated that they also contribute to the international business of Deutsche Messe AG, one of the world’s largest fair organizers based in Germany, said, “While we organize 10 trade fairs in Turkey, mainly focusing on the manufacturing industry, together with our business partners, we also organize participations from Turkey in the fairs organized by Deutsche Messe in different countries of the world. Deutsche Messe, which is among the world’s 10 largest fair companies, has mediated billions of euros worth of trade in more than 10,000 international fairs to date. is Canada, announced that approximately 134 companies from Turkey will participate in the fair together with 64 companies with the national participation organization of İTO. Emphasizing that the power and innovation capacity of Turkish industry will be represented once again at HANNOVER MESSE in 2025, Ertaşkın said, “We will demonstrate the contribution of these companies not only to industries but also to sustainable development with the solutions they develop.”

Develioğlu: We are setting out to Shape the Future with Technology!

Mehmet Develioğlu, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Istanbul Chamber of Commerce (ITO), said that they see Hannover Messe as a platform where new inventions and technologies are exhibited and the world’s leading economic actors come together. Underlining that they believe that being a participant or a visitor at the fair is extremely beneficial, mind-opening and develops collaborations, Develioğlu said, “This year, it is anticipated that 64 Turkish companies will participate individually. We also have a difference. We will also participate in the Future Hub hall together with the distinguished start-ups of our Knowledge Commercialization Center, Turkey’s largest entrepreneurship center, and our country’s pride, Teknopark Istanbul. In a sense, our start-ups with ideas that will ‘shape the future’ will carry Turkish entrepreneurship to the fair, which sets out with the motto of ‘Shaping the Future with Technology’. Underlining that they do not see Hannover as just a city, but that Hannover is the meeting and shaping place of the German and global economy, Develioğlu stated that they will work to sign much larger collaborations with the Hannover Messe subsidiary in the future. 

Speaking at the meeting, the Consul General of Canada in Istanbul, Tara Scheurwater, stated that they were very pleased to be the partner country of the Hannover Messe 2025 Fair and announced that over 200 companies would participate in the fair to represent the most innovative applications of the country. Drawing attention to the fact that the Hannover Messe Fair is a very important platform especially for the circular economy in production processes, Tara Scheurwater said, “We will also exhibit our technologies developed in Canada under this title at the fair. We will bring together global investors and Canadian companies at the fair.” Stating that Canada has been a country that has attracted a lot of investors in recent years, Tara Scheurwater said, “We have a qualified workforce. According to the OECD, the most highly educated workforce is 

in Canada. We are a fast-growing economy in the G7. There are opportunities in our country for Turkish companies. Turkish companies and Canadian companies can do very good things together. Canada is a joint investment destination for many countries. Global companies can establish partnerships with Canadian companies.”

German and international companies participating in the trade fair will be presenting their robotic applications in the Application Park at HANNOVER MESSE. For example, AI-enabled robots will be exhibited with applications that show how they learn tasks and dynamically adapt to changing production environments. The involvement of these robots makes production more efficient, especially in special production or small batch production.
