Mitsubishi Electric has also demonstrated its commitments in the areas of climate change and water security by being included in the CDP’s “A List”. It also supports energy efficiency efforts by participating in the United Nations’ 24/7 Carbon-Free Energy Agreement.
Achieving its sustainability goals step by step
Mitsubishi Electric is also working meticulously to increase the proportion of female employees and managers in line with its global sustainability vision. The company achieved a 19 percent increase in the preference and employment of female candidates in its operations in Turkey compared to previous years.
On the other hand, following the earthquake disaster centered in Kahramanmaraş and affecting 11 provinces, a total of 562 air conditioners were donated to AFAD (Disaster and Emergency Management Presidency) to be used in temporary living spaces in the earthquake zone in order to improve the living conditions of citizens living in difficult conditions.
In addition, Mitsubishi Electric Turkey Factory Automation Systems, which provides product donation support to teach automation to undergraduate students studying at many different state universities in Turkey, continues to contribute to the society in which it operates in the field of education.
