The largest meeting of the Machine Tools sector in the region, MAKTEK EURASIA, will start on September 30
Known as the “Fair of Machines That Make Machines”, MAKTEK EURASIA will be held for the eighth time at the Istanbul TÜYAP Fair and Congress Center between September 30 and October 5, 2024 with the theme of “Digital Transformation” among those registered. The fair, eagerly awaited by the manufacturing industry and the machine tools sector, will host innovations such as the Digital Transformation Experience Area and Start-up Zone this year.

MAKTEK EURASIA, organized by Tüyap Fair Organization Group in collaboration with the Machine Tools Industrialists and Business People Association (TİAD) and the Machinery Manufacturers Association (MİB) at the Tüyap Fair and Congress Center in Istanbul, is preparing to bring together the world’s leading companies and the most important brands of the machinery sector for the eighth time between September 30 and October 5, 2024.
MAKTEK EURASIA International Machine Tools, Metal - Sheet Metal Processing Machines, Holders - Cutting Tools, Quality Control - Measurement Systems, CAD/CAM, PLM Software and Production Technologies Fair, 99 percent of stand sales in this big meeting. Currently, there are over 1,000 companies and company representatives.
The fair offers business connections opportunities for companies and new entrepreneurs
The 8th MAKTEK EURASIA Fair will offer the opportunity to discover registered and unregistered cutting-edge products, innovations, sector trends and cooperation opportunities. In the MAKTEK EURASIA Fair held in 2022, 51 percent increased and strengthened their existing business connections through the fair, and 56 percent gained new potential customers from Turkey. It is aimed to exceed these amounts in this year’s fair. More than 85 thousand visitors are expected from 90 countries from all over the world, including countries centered in Egypt, Algeria, Saudi Arabia, North Africa, Russia, Germany, Italy, Poland, Canada, France, Hungary, and the Netherlands. It is planned to bring many sector professionals to the fair with special invitations to be held in the organization of Tüyap foreign offices, procurement delegation organization.
This year’s theme is “Digital Transformation”
In parallel with technological developments, the theme of the fair this year has been determined as “Digital Transformation”. In line with the content of the theme, the manager’s opportunities for new technology and personal experience in the manufacturing industry will be a Digital Transformation Experience Area.

Future technologies compete with “Open Design Istanbul”
Within the scope of the fair, TİAD organized the “Open Design Istanbul Design Competition” with the “Design for Sustainable Industry” relationship in order to encourage industrial designers and industrialists to collaborate more. The “Robotic Loading/Feeding System Design for CNC Machine Tools” competition will end on June 23, 2024. The winning awards will be presented at ceremonies to be held on September 30, 2024, the first day of the fair. The designs of the finalists will be open to visitors in a special showroom area in Hall 12A, where the events will take place.
