Celebrating its 30th anniversary this year with more than 750 participating companies from 19 countries, the opening of the WIN EURASIA 2024 Fair was hosted by Annika Klar, Chairman of the Board of Hannover Fairs Turkey, T.R. It was held with the participation of Ministry of Industry and Technology General Director of National Technology Alper Güzel, Turkish Machinery Federation (MAKFED) President Adnan Dalgakıran and Kazakhstan Machinery Industry Association Chairman Meiram Pshembayev.

Two good news came to industrialists

T.R. stated that it was very valuable for them that many companies and investors came from abroad in the 30th year of the fair and that they took part in the fair both as buyers and investors. Alper Güzel, General Director of National Technology of the Ministry of Industry and Technology, gave two good news to industrialists at the opening of the fair. Alper Güzel said, “One of these is the Digital Transformation Support Program. At this point, companies must first determine their own digitalization processes. Afterwards, the road map emerges. With the Digital Transformation Support Program, we want to drive our companies to a digital development and development. Another project of ours is the National Internship Mobilization Program. While students who want to work in the field of machinery industry are in search of where to intern, our companies suffer from the problem of not being able to reach the students they will employ in the future. This is a program where we will bring these two segments together. “With the National Internship Mobilization Program, which we carry out together with the Presidential Human Resources Office, we will connect our companies to the right person and the right intern with appropriate scoring systems,” he said.

WIN EURASIA shapes the future of the industry

Hannover Fairs Turkey Chairman Annika Klar, in her speech, emphasized that WIN EURASIA has been leading export-oriented initiatives for 30 years and its role in shaping the future of the industry. Stating that they are celebrating their 30th anniversary this year as WIN EURASIA, the leading industrial trade fair of the region, Annika Klar said, “Every year, we provide a comprehensive trade and technology network at WIN EURASIA, the regional representative of HANNOVER MESSE, the world’s most important industrial trade fair. WIN EURASIA is a powerful platform that enables our manufacturing industry and technology suppliers to meet all their requirements and discover next-generation technologies first-hand. Special areas of WIN EURASIA, such as 5G Arena, Metaverse Arena, Hydrogen Special Area, Digital Factories Area and Comvac Compressor, Vacuum and Pressurized Gas Equipment and Technologies Special Area, will offer visitors a new perspective on the future of the industry by exhibiting the latest developments of the sector. Our aim is to increase the competitiveness and export potential of the Turkish production industry and facilitate its interaction with future technologies and international markets. Beyond being a meeting point where innovations in the sector are discovered, WIN EURASIA is a fair that makes significant contributions to sectoral growth through the collaborations it creates. “While we accompany companies on their growth journey, we also make significant contributions to Turkey’s export volume,” he said.

Speaking at the opening of the fair, Turkish Machinery Federation (MAKFED) President Adnan Dalgakıran noted that they managed to add a new one to the WIN EURASIA Fairs, which were organized very professionally in their 30th year. Stating that they are very pleased with the components of the sector being gathered under one roof, Adnan Dalgakıran said, “The most accurate meeting point between Europe and Asia is Turkey. It would be beneficial for both European investors and especially Far Eastern investors to invest in Turkey quickly. Because the balances have shifted towards Asia, 52 percent of the world production is here. This causes other countries to impose different customs and quotas here. “At this point, Turkey can undertake a strategic mission,” he said.

Emphasizing that the world is in an incredibly rapid change, Adnan Dalgakıran said, “It has become very difficult to plan this change and create long-term strategies. In the world economy, companies have to drive quickly in foggy, misty weather. At this point, we know that all companies need to forget many things they know and create brand new strategies and perspectives. However, the working principles of the human brain are established to remain loyal to its habits, to what it has learned before, and to resist leaving that area. We are struggling between the way our brain works and how to monitor the development of the world. “It is very important for companies to be flexible at this point, to come out of this confusion and to recognize the difference early and take a position accordingly,” he said.

Adnan Dalgakıran, who stated that they witnessed a very serious development especially in the machinery sector at this point, said: “We are one of the important machinery manufacturers in Europe and the world. But what we need is to be in a higher league for both Türkiye and the world. It doesn’t just depend on our skills. The formation of trained human resources, financial stability, economies of scale and integration with the world are very important. “At this point, it needs to be re-evaluated and a new strategy needs to be drawn so that companies can achieve efficiency and scale,” he said.

“Let’s explore new business opportunities together”

Meiram Pshembayev, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Kazakhstan Machinery Industry Association, stated in his speech that they were happy to witness this power by taking part in the largest meeting of the sector and said, “In addition to Kazakhstan’s strategic role in the Eurasia Region, the importance it attaches to innovation, industrial growth and technology is increasing day by day.” is increasing. We aim to transform our country’s potential in these areas into new opportunities at WIN EURASIA Fair. By strengthening our global connections through business collaborations, we will create a significant potential for our sustainable development goals. “In this context, we invite all fair participants and leaders of the manufacturing industry to explore new business opportunities together,” he said.
