Tezmaksan, one of the leading companies of the machining industry in Turkey, officially opened its factory in Sivas Nuri Demirağ Organized Industrial Zone. The factory, designed in accordance with the dark factory concept and compatible with Industry 4.0, will produce 300 CubeBOX units per year in a single shift. In the factory, where standard work will be done by industrial robots and internal logistics material flows will be done by autonomous mobile robots (AVR), a total of 16 people, 3 white-collar and 13 blue-collar, will be employed in the first phase. Tezmaksan aims to reach a turnover of 100 million Euros in 2030 by increasing its production capacity 10 times with its factory built with an environmentally friendly sustainable architecture.
The official opening of the new factory, whose foundations were laid two years ago by Tezmaksan, the solution partner of the Turkish industry for more than 40 years, was held. The opening of the factory, built on 53 decares in Sivas Nuri Demirağ Organized Industrial Zone, was held with the honor of the Minister of Industry and Technology Mehmet Fatih Kacır, with the participation of Tezmaksan Chairman of the Board Mustafa Aydoğdu, Tezmaksan Group CEO Hakan Aydoğdu and protocol participation.
Speaking at the factory opening, T.R. Minister of Industry and Technology Mehmet Fatih Kacır stated that with the support mechanisms they provided, the share of high-tech products in exports increased and capabilities for structural transformation in production were developed. Minister Mehmet Fatih Kacır said that they found the contribution made by Tezmaksan, one of the leading companies in our country, to both the transformation in the industry and the export of value-added products very valuable with this investment, and said, “We talked to them, consulted them, and agreed. “With the Sivas factory we have opened, we expect an export of at least 100 million dollars by 2030.” said.

Minister Mehmet Fatih Kacır emphasized that a wide range of products, from the 8-axis turning center to the new generation CNC models, which will be produced in Sivas for the first time in
Turkey in an area of 53,000 square meters, will be manufactured and exported to 40 different countries from the Sivas factory. “I would like to address all our innovative entrepreneurs from here again. In this country, all our investors who go above and beyond, pursue innovation, produce, export and provide employment to our people have a special place in our country. Together with you, we will take our country to the top in the investment, employment, production and export route in the Turkish Century. “Our state will continue to be with you with all its means,” he said.

An investment of 15 million Euros and a construction cost of 2.5 million Euros were reached in the factory
Stating that their efforts to produce continuous innovations by focusing on technology, automation and R&D studies are an important responsibility for them in today’s world based on digital transformation, Tezmaksan Group CEO Hakan Aydoğdu shared the following information about the Sivas factory, which was implemented in this direction: “Our factory is currently We reached an investment cost of 15 million Euros and a construction cost of 2.5 million Euros. While we are currently producing in an area of 14 thousand 450 square meters, the construction of an area of 20 thousand square meters continues. Our growth project area for the following years consists of 19 thousand 300 square meters. Considering the training, learning and commissioning processes, we have manufactured a total of 70 CubeBOXes with mass production since October last year, and we aim to increase this to 150 units by the end of the year with the capacity increase. Starting next year, we plan
to produce 300 CubeBOXes annually in a single shift. We designed and implemented our production system in our factory according to value flow studies using lean production techniques, in accordance with the dark factory concept under the title of Industry 4.0. We carry out standard tasks by industrial robots, and material flows in our internal logistics by autonomous mobile robots (AVR). In addition, we currently have 16 employees, 3 of whom are white collar and 13 of whom are blue collar.”
Quality standards will be raised with the Accredited Quality Laboratory in the factory
Emphasizing that the Sivas factory was designed and implemented with current technologies and manufacturing techniques, Aydoğdu said, “We positioned our factory in Istanbul as an R&D center along with our factory, which was designed to receive the LEED Certificate in accordance with the European Green Deal and environmental sustainability principles. Ultimately, the production process of all products and projects developed by our engineers there will be in our factory here. In addition, our R&D team of 60 people in Istanbul will reach 80 people with the R&D team of 20 people in Sivas. We have equipped our quality-measurement and testing room in our factory with well-equipped, sensitive technological measuring devices. We did not design this place only for our products, we will also be able to meet the needs of our industrial organizations in the nearby geography, especially with the goal of an Accredited Quality Laboratory. As a company that increases our export rate day by day with CubeBOX, the production in our Sivas factory will also reflect this potential. While we currently have dealerships in 38 countries on 4 continents, our goal at the end of this year is to add 4 more countries to this network. “Our biggest goal is to contribute to the Turkish economy by continuing to produce high value-added products with our high-tech products and reaching the turnover target of 100 million Euros in 2030,” he said.
