MAKTEK AVRASYA, the largest meeting of the Machine Tools industry in the region, will start on September 30

MAKTEK EURASIA, known as the “fair of machines that make machines”, will be held for the eighth time at Istanbul Tüyap Fair and Congress Center with the theme of “Digital Transformation” between 30 September and 5 October 2024. The fair, which is eagerly awaited by the manufacturing industry and the machine tools sector, will host innovations such as the Digital Transformation Experience Zone and Start-up Zone this year.

The application deadline for the industrial design competition to be held with the theme of ‘Design for Sustainable Industry’, for which the application process continues with great interest, is June 23!

MAKTEK AVRASYA, which will be organized by Tüyap Fair Group in cooperation with the Machine Tools Industrialists’ and Businessmen’s Association (TİAD) and the Machinery Manufacturers Association (MİB) at the Tüyap Fair and Congress Center in Istanbul, will host the world’s leading companies between 30 September - 5 October 2024. and is preparing to bring together the most important brands of the machinery industry for the 8th time.
 

99 percent of the stand sales in this great meeting, which is the MAKTEK EURASIA International Machine Tools, Metal - Sheet Metal Processing Machines, Holders - Cutting Tools, Quality Control - Measurement Systems, CAD/CAM, PLM Software and Production Technologies Fair, have already been completed. Currently, there are more than 1,000 companies and company representatives.

The 8th MAKTEK EURASIA Fair will offer participants and visitors the opportunity to discover the latest technology products, innovations, industry trends and cooperation opportunities. At the MAKTEK EURASIA Fair held in 2022, 51 percent of the participants increased and strengthened their existing business connections through the fair, and 56 percent gained new potential customers from Turkey. It is aimed to exceed these rates at this year’s fair. More than 85 thousand visitors are expected from 90 countries from around the world, such as North Africa, Russia, Germany, Italy, Poland, Canada, France, Hungary and the Netherlands, with Egypt, Algeria and Saudi Arabia being the focus countries. It is planned to bring many industry professionals to the fair with special invitations to the focus countries along with the purchasing delegation program organized by Tüyap foreign offices.

In parallel with technological developments, this year’s theme of the fair was determined as “Digital Transformation”. In line with the theme content, the fair will have a Digital Transformation Experience Area where visitors will have the opportunity to personally experience new technologies and developments in the manufacturing industry.

Technologies of the future compete with “Open Design Istanbul”

Within the scope of the fair, “Open Design Istanbul Design Competition” will be organized by TİAD with the theme of “Design for Sustainable Industry” to encourage industrial designers and industrialists to collaborate more. Applications for the competition, which is held with the concept of “Robotic Loading/Feeding System Design for CNC Machine Tools”, will end on June 23, 2024. The awards of the winning projects will be presented at a ceremony to be held on the first day of the fair, September 30, 2024. The finalists’ designs will be open to visitors in a special showroom area in hall 12A, where the events will take place at the fair.
