Tüyap brought together 36,762 visitors from 67 countries at the intercontinental giant meeting of the machinery manufacturing sector in Bursa. BUMATECH Bursa Machinery Technologies Fair, which was held on an area of 40 thousand square meters in 7 halls in Tüyap Bursa International Fair and Congress Center with the participation of 378 companies and company representatives, witnessed a sales record as the most important meeting of the machinery manufacturing industry this year. Stating that they achieved a sales record in 4 days at BUMATECH Bursa Machinery Technologies Fair, where the international Bursa Metal Processing Technologies Fair, Sheet Metal Processing Technologies Fair and Automation Fair met under one roof, Tüyap Fairs Yapım A.Ş. General Manager İlhan Ersözlü said, “BUMATECH has become one of the strongest fairs among the machinery fairs organized in the sector. This year, too, there was an intense participation in our fair. We have seen the results of communication studies. We organized purchasing delegations from many countries. We hosted 36,762 visitors from 67 countries in total at our fair and created a business volume of hundreds of millions of dollars in the sector with the hot sales made at our fair as well as the orders received for after the fair.”
Bursa, the locomotive city of the Turkish economy with its strong industrial production, brought together companies and company representatives from all over the world in the intercontinental giant meeting of the machinery manufacturing sector. BUMATECH Bursa Machinery Technologies Fairs, prepared by the Bursa Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BTSO) in cooperation with the Machine Tools Industrialists and Business People Association (TİAD) and the Machinery Manufacturers Association (MIB), with the support of the Ministry of Trade, KOSGEB and Bursa Metropolitan Municipality, As it has been for 20 years, this year it has signed the biggest machinery manufacturing meeting of the year. The fair, which was followed with interest by a wide audience from Turkey and abroad, witnessed an influx of foreign visitors from the Middle East, North Africa and Europe. The fair, supported by the Machinery Ur-Ge project, succeeded in increasing the domestic demands in this respect.
“3 out of 4 exhibitors made hot sales”
Underlining that BUMATECH Fairs are the last and most important meeting of the machinery industry this year, as every year it is held, Tüyap Fairs Yapım A.Ş. General Manager İlhan Ersözlü drew attention to the added value created by the fairs for the machinery manufacturing sector and the Turkish economy. Ersözlü said, “This year’s BUMATECH Fairs increased the satisfaction of exhibitors and visitors in terms of introducing themselves and gaining hot sales. At the end of the 4th day, we brought together 36,762 visitors from 67 countries at our fair. Our participants broke a great sales record in 4 days. We learned that 3 of every 4 exhibitors participating in the fair made hot sales at the fair. We have also received signals that this sales wind will continue after the fair. We are happy to sign a successful fair where we add value to the export balance sheet with this commercial activity we have created in the machinery manufacturing sector.”
“We will continue to achieve record sales”
Mentioning that the sales wind created by BUMATECH Fairs drew attention to other fairs to be organized by Tüyap Machinery Fairs Group in 2023, Ersözlü said, “With the increasing satisfaction of our visitors and participants, we have already started to receive demand for the machinery fairs we will organize in 2023. We will open the year with Tube & Steel and Wiretech Fairs that we will organize in Istanbul on 24-27 May 2023. Afterwards, we will continue to achieve record sales with the fairs we will organize in Istanbul, Konya and Eskişehir.” He stated.
