The female employee ratio at Tezmaksan will be increased to 21 percent

Tezmaksan aims to increase the female employment rate to 21 percent by the end of 2025 by taking determined steps to increase female employment. Tezmaksan Group CEO Hakan Aydoğdu said, “We see women’s power as the foundation of the economy. Women’s economic independence is a critical element not only for companies but also for social transformation and sustainable development. We are carrying out work to make women more visible in the economy and to provide equal opportunities.”

In today’s business world, women’s participation in economic life has become one of the most important elements of sustainable development and social welfare. However, as in many sectors, women’s employment has not reached the desired level in the industry and production sectors. Tezmaksan is taking steps to change this situation and ensure a stronger participation of women in the workforce. The company aims to make a difference not only by increasing female employment but also with projects that support gender equality. Tezmaksan Group CEO Hakan Aydoğdu emphasized that women’s greater involvement in business life is a critical element not only for economic growth but also for social transformation. Aydoğdu, who drew attention to the fact that the rate of female managers, including all group companies, is 33.33 percent and the rate of female employees is 18.42 percent, said, “We want to increase the rate of female participation in the workforce from 18.42 to 21 percent by the end of 2025.”

“There are significant obstacles to women’s participation in the workforce in Turkey”

Drawing attention to the significant progress made in solving the problems stemming from gender-based role discrimination in developed countries, Aydoğdu emphasized that women are taking on more roles in society as leaders, managers and entrepreneurs. Aydoğdu stated that studies and statistics show that women cannot benefit from equal opportunities with men in most developing societies, and said, “There are still significant obstacles to women’s participation in the workforce, especially in Turkey. There are obstacles that limit women’s participation in the workforce in Turkey, such as low education rates, the dominance of traditional gender roles in society, the fact that women have more care responsibilities and obligations, social perceptions about women’s employment, lack of sufficient skills and professional qualifications, and limited access to financial resources. These create serious barriers that limit women’s participation in the economy. As Tezmaksan Group, this is exactly where we come into play. We carry out various projects and studies in order to ensure greater participation of women in business life.”

“Female employees shape the future of the company”

Stating that female employees are one of the most valuable stakeholders that shape the future of companies, Aydoğdu said, “Our female executive ratio, including all our group companies, is 33.33 percent, and our female employee ratio is 18.42 percent. We are working to increase this ratio. We have a big goal in this context: We want to increase the female labor force participation rate from 18.42 percent to 21 percent by the end of 2025. We are aware that this is not an easy goal, but we will mobilize all our resources to achieve this goal with determination and perseverance. The concentrated female employment in the white collar sector supports sustainable growth by increasing the innovation power of our company. In addition, the increase in blue-collar female employment that started in our Sivas factory in 2025 is a concrete example of our determination regarding gender equality.”

“Our goal is to create a permanent transformation in gender equality”

Aydoğdu, who emphasized that as Tezmaksan, they have made it their mission to strengthen women’s economic and social position, encourage them to contribute more to the country’s economy and increase their presence in the business world by establishing national and international communication networks, said, “One of the biggest obstacles to women’s participation in the workforce is gender perceptions and traditional role distribution. Therefore, ensuring that women are more active and participatory in social and cultural areas, emphasizing the importance of women in society and working to eliminate discrimination constitute the cornerstones of our vision. In order to show that women can be successful in every field, increase their economic productivity and support their participation in the workforce, we develop various trainings and projects in cooperation with official institutions. We aim to create a permanent transformation in gender equality by providing financial and moral support to these projects implemented to ensure that women benefit from opportunities equally.”

“We are moving forward with determination to make women’s role in the economy more visible”

Tezmaksan Group CEO Aydoğdu stated that they believe that women’s participation in the workforce will not only support economic growth but also social transformation. Aydoğdu stated that women’s greater participation in economic life means creating equal opportunities in every segment of society and will allow for the reshaping of gender roles, and said, “Women’s gaining economic independence is an important step towards eliminating gender inequality. Women’s more effective participation in the workforce means distributing the economic prosperity of not only our company and our country, but the entire world more fairly. We are moving forward with determination to make women’s role in the economy more visible and to ensure equal opportunities by taking these steps.”
