Local companies in the manufacturing industry will show their strength at BUMATECH Fairs

BUMATECH Fairs, one of the most important machinery technology fairs in Turkey, is preparing to open its doors on November 28 at Tüyap Bursa Fair and Congress Center to present the latest innovations in production in metalworking, sheet metalworking and automation.

BUMATECH Fairs, organized by Tüyap Fair Organization Group and contributing greatly to the manufacturing industry for many years, is preparing to take the stage once again as an important platform that showcases Turkey’s power and innovative technologies in the machinery sector and aims to increase the competitive power of the leading companies in the sector in the global market. This important event, which is the last machinery fair of the year and eagerly awaited by local and foreign sector professionals, will exhibit cutting-edge innovation products from laser technologies to pipe bending machines, from CNC machines to cutting tools, from software and digital technologies to automation systems, from welding and robotic systems to factory equipment, as well as all kinds of machinery sub-industry equipment and materials.

Domestic manufacturers cover 60% of the fair

Touching on the diversity of the fairs’ profile, Tüyap Fuarlar Yapım A.Ş. General Manager İlhan Ersözlü said, “BUMATECH Fairs have always distinguished themselves from our other machinery fairs as a fair with high participation from domestic manufacturers. Price-performance machines, which are frequently heard in the national and international markets, will meet with the sector at the fair. The machines to be exhibited for the first time at the fair will be launched and the machines will find their new owners with the financing models offered. Despite the global dynamic competition environment and challenging market conditions, there was only a change of around 15% in the participant profile. This year, we meticulously managed the participant profile by maintaining the mission of ‘domestic manufacturer-domestic production’. The contributions of our valuable associations and unions with whom we cooperated during this process were also very important. While the members of the Machinery Manufacturers Association (MİB) operating in the field of sheet metal processing technologies will take priority, the members of the Machine Tool Industrialists and Businessmen Association (TİAD) operating in the machining sector will also take part in the fair with their strong brands. In line with the demands from the sector, we will continue our efforts with all our might to organize new projects and new fairs in destinations in the coming period. We invite all sector related people to BUMATECH Fairs.”

The support of quality and technology in value-added production comes to the fore with the fair

Touching on value-added production and the support of technology transfer to qualified production, Murat Akyüz, Chairman of the Board of Machine Tools Industrialists and Businessmen Association (TİAD), said, “The use of new technologies with high efficiency plays a critical role in our machinery manufacturing industry’s value-added production. The main factor in the average kilogram value of Turkey’s machinery exports reaching 7.2 USD with a 16 percent increase in 1 year is the increase in the perception of quality in production and brand awareness and our ability to make more precise production through technology transfer. BUMATECH Fairs are also among the fairs where you can see these manufactured products.”
