Schneider Electric Named a Global Leader on 3 Prestigious Platforms for Diversity, Equality and Inclusion

These achievements reflect the depth of the company’s longstanding commitment to creating a fairer and more equitable society, as well as the tangible and practical impact of its work within its workforce to achieve these goals.
Schneider Electric was ranked 16th in its industry in the Financial Times’ Diversity Leaders 2023 ranking. Schneider Electric has been included in this prestigious list for the fourth consecutive year as a testament to the success and consistency of its efforts in terms of the global workforce.
The Financial Times annual ranking evaluates the success of companies in promoting equality and diversity in the workplace. This list is compiled based on independent survey data from more than 100,000 employees in companies employing at least 250 people in 16 European countries. In this context, more than 300 thousand evaluations in total in the list prepared this year formed the basis for determining the Diversity Leaders, and only the 850 companies with the highest scores were included in the final list.
The results of the Financial Times assessment are echoed in Refinitiv’s annual Diversity and Inclusion Index, which ranks the top 100 publicly traded companies that do the most to promote diversity and inclusion among employees. Schneider Electric performed strongly on the benchmark, ranking 2nd in its industry and 61st overall.
Refinitiv, a leading provider of financial market data and infrastructure, evaluates 12,000 businesses in four categories (Diversity, Inclusivity, Employee Development and Conflict Resolution) when compiling its index. The data is frequently used by financial professionals to assess sustainability-related risks and opportunities across companies’ investments, as well as to strengthen their diversity-focused investment strategies.
Along with these achievements, Schneider Electric was also named one of the World’s Best Women-Friendly Companies of 2022, published by Forbes. Schneider Electric was ranked 11th out of 30 companies in the engineering and manufacturing sectors.
